In Sanskrit, Vastu means creation of environment and environment and Shastra means an entire system or law. The word Vastu comes from Vastu, which means everything that provides shelter. Vastu Shastra describes the methods of building any type of shelter in which there is a congenital environment due to the combined positive effects of the five elements called Pancha Mahabhut. Vastu Shastra incorporates techniques for deciding the direction, location and position of various aspects related to the building. If a shelter, be it a house, a business establishment or an industrial base, is based on the guidelines of Vastu Shastra, if it definitely blesses the owner with health, wealth, prosperity and happiness.

Vastu mandal

Mandala means configuration, enclosure or network and is specialized for time, place, person and purpose. They are in the general tradition of Vedic science, associated with Purusha and Mandal Vastu. Vastu influences in geographical areas. In India, some cities have made commendable progress while others have not. For example, Mumbai and Trombay have registered tremendous growth for the Bhabha Atomic Research Center. Internationally, Japan has made a lot of progress despite its small area. All these observations can be explained on the basis of Vastushastra. The Pacific Ocean is located on the north-east side of Japan. Again, parts of southern and western Japan have also been covered with water, often creating natural hazards such as earthquakes. The bombardment of Hiroshima and Nagasaki may also be the result of the same situation. Although it is eastward, the name of Japan is northeast. It is an important property of Vastu Shastra.

Cosmic energy concept

There are different texts in Vastu Shastra such as Mansar, Vishwakarma Prakash, Samargana Sutradhara, Vastu-Ratnavali, Sthapana Veda, etc. It is all based on the principle of cosmic energy. The scholars of Vedic times have written texts which depict the influence of various celestial bodies such as the sun, moon, planets and asteroids, as well as light and heat on the earth. He also explained many scientific and geographical factors, such as atmosphere, wind, direction, gravitational force, electric field, etc.
