In today’s world of aggressive marketing, flashy claims, and instant fame, numbers often become tools of influence rather than indicators of truth. One such claim I came across surfing on internet. There was an advertisement flashing in with one very young looking Astrologer showing a text: “240,000 consultations in 39 years.” It gave me a really pleasant surprise. May be the young man started his astrology career in his family lineage at the tender age of 5-10 years, or he has all his past life memories continued in his this life too.

 

At first glance, this sounds impressive—almost unbelievable. But when we step back and evaluate it with logic and practicality, a deeper question arises:

Is it genuinely possible, or just a cleverly packaged illusion?

I believe this analysis is also too casual. In fact, 20-30 minutes per consultation is impossible. I am a practicing astrologer since almost 2 decades. Making a horoscope, doing calculations, understanding the planets, understanding current gochar (transits) itself takes 20-30 minutes minimum. Mostly I do 60 min consultations, some 30 min and some 120 minutes consultations. After a consultation, any good and serious astrologer needs a break, as consultation is an energy exchange between astrologer and client. Depending upon sorrow and stress of the client the astrologer need certain cleansing and relaxation. Without this, his health and mental ability will not resume back to normalcy. So, in my way, in an average not more than 4-5 consultations possible at the max. 

 

So this number is far beyond the actual and practical number.
