Background and reason of writing this Article: My experience with Clients, myths and their queries
Often people come to me asking following common queries and I answer them in following manner –
Query 1 : I had purchased my house looking at Vastu but since I moved in this property my downfall in career started/health issues came/financial conditions deteriorated etc. I spent lacs of Rupees in Vastu Products, nothing worked. I don’t know why?
My Answer: There are a lot of myths or created theories to confuse the property buyer nowadays. I have my practical experiences while visiting properties as a Vastu Consultant. If the entry is either in East or West, in both the cases they are sold saying it is 100% vastu compliant property by property dealers or builder’s sales staff. They tell it as “East West Entry”. When I ask them entry can be either East or West. How can you say it as East West Entry? They give logic that you enter from East to West or you enter from West to East. It is the biggest joke. Is Vastu Shastra so easy? Entry of the house is from House Perspective, not the entrant’s perspective. So while going out whatever direction one faces is main direction of the house. As a common man one knows only four directions. But from Vastu perspective, there are 8 sub directions in each direction. So mainly 8X4=32 directions are taken into consideration while deciding entry of a house. The suitable entry/entries I calculate based on property owner’s horoscope, which is done rarely by general vastu consultants. This is basic. There are hundreds of other factors which are considered to rate a vastu. We know that in today’s time it’s difficult to get 100% vastu compliant house but if one chooses a property which is suitable as per his/her horoscope, it will give all happiness and prosperity, even if 70-80% vastu compliant and free of some major doshas.
Query 2 : I have finalized one flat which is vastu compliant. I just want to know which flat number I should take out of these available flat numbers.
My Answer : Though flat number is important, but it is secondary. Vastu of the flat is of utmost importance and must be given priority. Claiming by Property Consultant / Builder as vastu compliant cannot be possible, as from some one’s horoscope an East Facing Vastu will be suitable. From another individual’s horoscope, South facing property will be suitable. There is no standard suitability, it is based on customized rules and formula of Vastu Shastra. Though some rules are universal and that can be taken care of by a builder while constructing a building, but claiming a flat vastu compliant for everyone is impossible. If vastu is taken care while constructing, choosing right layout becomes very much important.
Query 3 : I know vastu {of course it must be from YouTube or Instagram university}, everything is alright I just want to know remedies for Kitchen in North East/Toilet seat facing East etc etc
My Answer : Vastu is seen in totality, not in pieces. You can make kitchen vastu compliant, biggest flaws may exist and that may not be very pleasant. So I don’t do half /Partial Vastu, Numerology or Astrology.

I suggest following approach to Vastu:
1. Best approach is to buy the most suitable one from your horoscope wherein you need to do no compromises in arrangement/interior designing and placement /lay outing of the house.
2. Once you have already purchased it, some planning/precautions during interior can improve it further
3. Last option is that you are staying In the property and feel some negativity/difficulty in day to day life, some small suggestions or remedy may improve the situation. Need not to sell the property or you do not need to do the major breakage or changes in the property.
In today’s fast-moving world, people are surrounded by stress, emotional fatigue, disturbed sleep, relationship imbalance, and lack of mental peace. Modern homes are filled with technology and convenience, yet people feel disconnected, restless, or energetically drained. This is where the ancient wisdom of Vastu Shastra can offer practical value — not as superstition, but as a system of balance.
True Vastu is not about fear. It is not about selling expensive remedies, endless rituals, or making people dependent. Pure and Honest Vastu is about creating harmony between human life and natural energy.

My Approach to Vastu
Today, many people fear Vastu because they have seen exaggerated claims:
“Your life is ruined because of one direction.”
“Buy expensive pyramids.”
“Do costly poojas immediately.”
“Break the house urgently.”
This fear-based approach damages the true spirit of Vastu.
A genuine Vastu consultant first understands:
• The lifestyle of the family
• Practical limitations
• Existing architecture
• Emotional and financial comfort of the client
• Honest Vastu should always focus on:
• Simple corrections
• Better space utilization
• Natural energy flow
• Practical solutions
• Awareness, not fear
• Sometimes small changes like:
• Better placement of furniture
• Improved lighting and ventilation
• Removing clutter
• Correct sleeping directions
• Balanced use of colors and elements
One can create noticeable improvement without unnecessary spending. Vastu and Modern Living Can Work Together. Vastu is not against modern architecture. It can be integrated beautifully with:

The goal is not perfection.
